Anthony Gormley

Visited the beach near Liverpool with all the sculptures of Anthony all over the beach and in the water. It was brilliant my dogs were not impressed though barked and growled at them, it was so funny. At one point Ivy who had found a ball dropped it at the feet of one of the men wanting it to through the ball, she was not impressed when he didn't. Look through the photo's they are great.

Aftermath

It's been a hard few weeks getting everything finished for college. I have handed in and I hope I have improved since last semester.
Rapture Gallery in Harrogate is doing well and I hope to still have my paintings in this week, not sold anything yet but I live in hope. I had some feedback on my paintings most people like the subjects and have recognised the places I have painted. Other suggestions on the frames and on the colours in my work, as my work is quite dark due to the technique I used so I may try to make them brighter and more appealing to the viewer.
It's very beneficial to get feed back from the public and other artists.
I am currently reading about research and crafts and contemporary art and the relationship between the two and the direction they are both taking in the art world. I think this will be interesting reading and the research into crafts all over the world and where they stand in the art society, do they have a future?
