New School House York

I was very surprised that I was chosen for the gallery, I hope that I can put my work up early as they want us to put the work up next week but I am away in Scotland to see my mum and dad. So I may have to go Saturday if they let me otherwise Macki said she would take my work and out it up. Macki is wonderful!!!

Start of my journey for my BA Degree year

I went to the first meeting with Heidi and all the students who will be on the final year. It became apparent that we have a lot of work ahead of us, I was surprised that the dissertation was less words than the last one I had for early years. I may need more words for mine. I am watching a program at the moment on the masters of the 20th century I will do a written account of these painters for my research. I know where I want to be and having been chosen for 53 degrees North but the New School House in York has given me the inspiration to carry on with the 3 paintings I am currently doing. I have taken Heidi's idea of doing my journal on my blog, I think I may do both as the journal has been both a way of developing as an practitioner and cathartic process for me. I like to write even though I am dyslexic and spell check is a must with my problems. I think I will continue with both for the time being.
